Syngonium podophyllum

Syngonium, commonly known as the Arrowhead Plant, is also referred to as the goosefoot plant and American Evergreen. This particular cultivar is the 'Gold Allusion' variety.

Known for their ability to survive neglect while retaining their grace, this tropical bushy plant is amazing for novice plant lovers looking to add elegance to their space.

'Gold Allusion' arrowheads produce striking green and gold, arrow-shaped leaves with pink venation. While most arrowheads are climbing plants that grow long, trailing stems, The 'Gold Allusion' is quite the opposite. It retains a compact, bushy appearance, making it perfect for tabletops, desk, and shelves.

How to care for Gold Allusion Arrowhead:

Potting Mix: Arrowhead plants require soil that is well draining while also being able to retain moisture.The soil mix also need to have proper aeration which is crucial to prevent root rot. here is a soil mix we recommend that you can make at home.

  1. 2 Parts potting soil 
  2. 1 part perlite or pumice stone 
  3. 1 part orchid bark 

Water,Feed&Frequency: Arrowhead plants appreciate consistent watering but don't want to be waterlogged. To ensure even watering place your pot with the arrowhead plant in to a bowl with shallow amount of water. Let plant sit in water for 15 to 20 minutes. Repeat this process only when top soil is completely dry. Water less frequently during colder season.Use a balanced liquid fertilizer spray directly into the soil during spring and summer

 

Light&Temperature: Arrowhead plants prefer to sit comfortably in bright indirect light but can tolerate lowlight conditions. These plants should stay in temperature ranges between 60°-85°F
